He's one of the hottest phenoms in music today. Usher (last name Raymond), is a chart topper with a smooth groove and a "ladies' man" rep. After a stint in the local gospel choir, the Georgia-born singer auditioned at only 14 for La Face co-founder L.A. Reid and was signed. He's been on the scene since the '90's but his sultry R&B sound took off bigtime after his "Confessions" album spawned the hit "Yeah". Now with "My Way", Usher offers soulful tunes that conjure up the R&B albums from the 1980's as well as more upbeat fun cuts like "Just Like Me" with Lil' Kim. He's also making the move to movies.

Lookin' hot in some serious diamond "bling" in L.A. recently to promote his Showtime concert "One Night, One Star: Usher Live", the artist dropped by a Universal City hotel to chat with the press.

TeenMusic: Will there be anything new or more "behind the scenes" in this TV concert?

Usher: This is show that we toured all over the United States as well as in international territories. You're going to see behind-the-scenes footage that we are capturing specifically for all the viewers of this show. (Shot in) Puerto Rico, how much hotter could it get?

TeenMusic: Will we hear some of your older hits as well as the new stuff?

Usher: You're going to see a lot of the songs that were made No. 1 in 2004, as well as music from my earlier albums. And, expect nothing but live, live..yes! vocal performances! You'll be entertained from beginning until the end.
