American Idol winner Fantasia Barrino shocked guests of an American breakfast show by forcing them out of the greenroom so that she could use it as a dressing room.

The 19-year-old blues singer performed on The Early Show yesterday and demanded that the other guests - including an Esquire editor and a teen who'd lost 250 pounds (113 kilograms) - were shepherded "into the bowels of CBS somewhere".

Leigh Farris, spokeswoman of American TV station CBS says, "To my knowledge, she did not request it. Whenever we have live performers, we give them the whole greenroom, because it's bigger."
