Pop star Aaron Carter and recently departed B2K pin-up Omarion have joined the cast of the movie adaptation of Bill Cosby's beloved cartoon character Fat Albert.

The live-action version of the project is currently shooting in Los Angeles and stars Saturday Night Live regular Kenan Thompson as the chubby title character.

The project is based on characters from comedian Cosby's childhood in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The film will be released on Christmas Day in American theaters.
