Former Beverly Hills, 90210 star Jason Priestley is desperate to reprise his role in the remake of the hit series - but fears he will not be asked.

The 38-year-old actor - who played Brandon Walsh in the popular TV series - has discussed an appearance in the remake with Momlogic.com in New York.

But Priestley fears he will be overlooked.

He says, "They haven't contacted me about doing anything yet. But if it's the right thing, I'm certainly open to it."

"I loved working on that show. I loved everything I did on that show. I had so many jobs on that show, I loved it so."
