Tom Cruise, who wildly declared his love for Katie Holmes on "The Oprah Winfrey Show" in 2005, is returning to the scene of the crime, his rep says.

MSNBC first announced Cruise's return to Winfrey's couch and the actor's publicist confirmed the report to People magazine.

"He is really looking forward to it," Julie Polkes said.

Cruise's last "Oprah" appearance was one of the 2005 TV season's more memorable moments as he jumped wildly about the set announcing he was in love.

The reunion of the talk show diva and Hollywood superstar will take place during May sweeps, MSNBC reported.
