Paris Hilton has confirmed that her next foray into reality TV will be a quirky attempt to find a new best friend forever (bff).

The former Simple Life star will front a new Mtv show in which female contestants will compete to be the socialite-turned-actress' pal.

Hilton giggles, "I'm really excited about this concept. I'm going to meet a lot of great girlfriends."

And the hotel heiress likens the upcoming reality show to the college experience she never had.

She tells In Touch Weekly magazine, "I never got to go to college and this will be my chance to be in a sorority and have that experience."

"And it'll be great to meet a girl who's not too Hollywood, who I can get along with and hang out with when the show is done."
