Jake Gyllenhaal and Tobey Maguire are set to play siblings in a remake of Susanne Bier's acclaimed Danish war movie Brothers.
Maguire is in negotiations to play a young father who is sent to fight in Afghanistan, while his younger brother (Gyllenhaal) looks after his wife and child.
Bier's 2004 film starred Gladiator's Connie Nielsen, Ulrich Thomsen and Nikolaj Lie Kaas.
