Ashton Kutcher is set to be a big-time TV mogul after his production company signed a deal with network CBS.

CBS and its divisions will now have the first option on all alternative and reality projects made by Kutcher's Katalyst Films - as agreed in the two-year contract.

The deal allows Kutcher and business partner Jason Goldberg to retain international format and distribution rights to their shows - unlike their previous agreement with 20th Century Fox Tv.

Katalyst's creations include Beauty and the Geek, The Real Wedding Crashers, Adventures in Hollyhood and Room 401.
