Singer/actress Hannah Montana broke a record on Tuesday when thousands of screaming fans attended her DVD signing in London.

The 14-year-old star, real name Miley Cyrus, was stunned to discover young fans had queued since 5am in the morning to get a signed copy of her Hannah Montana DVD at the HMV flagship store in Oxford Street.

A spokesman for HMV confirmed it had been the store's biggest ever signing.

On Wednesday, Montana - daughter of country singer Billy Ray Cyrus - made her British performing debut with a concert at the capital's Koko Club.
