Latest: Oscar winner Nicole Kidman has laughed off reports she is set to cameo in hit TV drama Nip/Tuck.

The Moulin Rouge! actress is rumoured to be a huge fan of the cosmetic surgery show and asked the programme's creator Ryan Murphy for a small part.

In a recent interview, Murphy declared, "I think I'm going to write a part where she comes in and she's wearing that Virginia Woolf (in The Hours) nose. She's hilarious and I love her."

However her spokesperson tells the New York Daily News, "That rumour is not true."
