24 star Elisha Cuthbert is furious with Justin Timberlake for writing a disparaging song about her - and she's letting new pal and the pop star's ex, Cameron Diaz, know all about it.

The song What Goes Around...Comes Around is reportedly based on the actress' relationship with her former fiance Trace Ayala, who is one of Timberlake's best friends.

Diaz and Cuthbert attended the Night Before Oscar bash at the Beverly Hills Hotel last Saturday and were spotted having an intense conversation for nearly an hour.

A source tells American publication Us Weekly Cuthbert was furious with Timberlake for not telling the whole story in the song and the Charlie's Angels star desperately tried to console her.

Diaz reportedly assured Cuthbert her relationship with Ayala was "only an inspiration" for the song.
