Christina Aguilera and her new husband Jordan Bratman are constantly bombarded with requests to star in a new reality TV series, but insist they'll never open their home to cameras.

The pop superstar reveals TV executives are often puzzled when she refuses to follow Jessica Simpson, Carmen Electra and even old pal Britney Spears' example and reveal all about her private life.

She tells MTV News, "We've been approached, actually, and it has been a question for some people, but my marriage and my relationship with my husband is something that I really want to protect."

Aguilera admits she feels sorry for the stars of the first wave of celebrity at home shows, who have now become media targets.

She adds, "My heart goes out to that whole situation. It's a whole different ballgame, I feel, when you do open yourself up to that whole thing, and it must be difficult."

"You're open to all the judgment in the world. At least now I can say, `Well, you don't know my situation and it's very private and special and sacred to me.'"

Aguilera's decision seems wise - celebrity reality TV couples Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey, Travis Barker and Shanna Moakler and Carmen Electra and Dave Navarro have split and Britney Spears and Kevin Federline are often the source of split reports.
