Oscar winner Charlize Theron has landed her dream role in hit TV comedy Arrested Development.

The actress, a longtime fan of the show, will make a guest appearance in five upcoming episodes, according to movie trade magazine The Hollywood Reporter.

She'll play show regular Jason Bateman's British love interest.
