Prep & Landing is ABC's first television special produced by Walt Disney Animation Studios. The half-hour holiday special reveals the never-before-told tale of an elite unit of Elves known as Prep & Landing. Every Christmas Eve, this high-tech organization ensures that homes around the world are properly prepared for a visit from the Big Guy (aka Santa Claus).

After working tirelessly on Prep & Landing for 227 years, an elf named Wayne (voice of Dave Foley) is upset when he doesn't receive an expected promotion to be the Director of Naughty List Intelligence. Instead, Magee (voice of Sarah Chalke), the North Pole Christmas Eve Command Center Coordinator (NPCECCC for short), partners Wayne with Lanny (voice of Derek Richardson), an idealistic rookie who has an undying enthusiasm for Christmas.

The elite unit of elves from ABC’s new holiday television special Disney Prep & Landing have taken their covert operation digital with exclusive content and features coming to Disney.com, Disney Family.com and a new mobile app available exclusively for iPhone and iPod Touch.

Disney.com will become the online command center for Disney Prep & Landing this November and December, with exclusive content including:

• Full-length Disney Prep & Landing special will be available for streaming, starting December 2

• Exclusive Disney.com original short video “Tiny’s Adventure,” premieres on December 2

• Kringle Academy online game, where players can train to someday become part of the Prep & Landing team launches on November 23

• Digital toys and downloadable artwork, available on December 2

• North Pole web cam, starting on November 13

Disney Family.com is the holiday headquarters for fun crafts, decorations and activities. The site is offering exclusive Disney Prep & Landing activities that are fun for the whole family, including:

• Do-It-Yourself Prep & Landing booklet, offering kids a guide to prep their house for Santa’s arrival

• A printable village play set so kids can dream up their own adventures for Wayne and Lanny

• Printable 3-D versions of  the Disney Prep & Landing elves

• Dozens of different holiday crafts and printable activities, including a Gingerbread man decoder, ornaments, and even a elf-size door craft so kids without a fireplace can make sure Wayne and Lanny inspect their home

• Disney Family.com is also participating in Disney Store’s holiday event on Nov. 20, families who visit Disney Stores on this date can make die-cut versions of the Disney Prep & Landing elves

Mobile App

Starting December 1, iPhone and iPod Touch users can download a new Disney Prep & Landing game featuring three mini-games and other content based on the television special. Players take on the role of Lanny, an elf in training, who takes on the various challenges and obstacles experienced at Kringle Academy.  With the help of fellow rookie Wayne, Lanny’s goal is to finish the last three exams, graduate from the Academy and become part of the elite group of elves who prepare houses for Santa’s arrival.
