Gavin Rossdale to Play Simmons Character in TV Drama

Rocker Gavin Rossdale is to play a twisted character loosely based on Kiss star Gene Simmons in TV cop drama Criminal Minds.
The former Bush frontman, who is married to singer/actress Gwen Stefani, will play a goth rocker who is suspected of murder in the 11 November episode of the hit show.
Rossdale covered a Joy Division song for the episode and he'll perform the song on the programme.
The one-off special will be directed by Saturday Night Fever moviemaker John Badham.
