Jessica Simpson in Global Beauty TV Series

Jessica Simpson has confirmed she's heading back to reality TV to study beauty around the world.

Six years after MTV's Newlyweds: Nick & Jessica reportedly wrecked her marriage to Nick Lachey, the pop star/actress is returning to MTV for docu-series The Price of Beauty, which will launch in 2010.

For the series, Simpson will travel the world to meet pop culture icons and ordinary women in a bid to uncover beauty secrets.

She says, "I have always believed that beauty comes from within and confidence will always make a woman beautiful, but I know how much pressure some women put on themselves to look perfect."

Simpson will serve as executive producer on the project, alongside her manager father Joe.
