Kanye West Says Reality Show Not Reality
Comments
NEW YORK, Jan 16, 2007 (UPI via COMTEX) -- Rumors that U.S. rap artist Kanye West is developing a reality show aren't true, the rapper said, adding he is investigating a 30-minute sitcom.
In a statement to MTV news, West said he "wouldn't do something as cliche as a reality show," FMQB.com said. He said he is working on sitcom that is "fictional and loosely based on my life" with producer-director Larry Charles and music producer Rick Rubin.
Meanwhile, West's New York-based label, G.O.O.D Music, is preparing for new releases from Gangsta L. Crisis, Consequence and Common. He also is working on his third album, Graduation, for which a release date has yet to be set.
