Jojo Brushes Up On Ronstadt Knowledge

Teen pop sensation Jojo faced a slight problem when she was asked to play Linda Ronstadt in an American TV series - she'd never heard of the veteran singer.

The 13-year-old Leave (Get Out) singer - real name Joanna Levesque - was invited to perform as Ronstadt in an episode of American Dreams, but she had to do a little research first.

She says, "I sing That'll Be The Day, and I wanted to listen to the song before I said yes.

"I got her greatest hits, then I saw some pictures of her, and I was like, 'I can definitely do this.' She's a very interesting woman with a great voice.

"They put this black wig on me with bangs I looked crazy - and not in a good way. But I did what I had to do."

The episode will air in America on November 21st.
