Timberlake Gives Cuthbert Dancing Tips

Pop hunk Justin Timberlake gave his pal Elisha Cuthbert a little help before she appeared on Ellen DeGeneres' talk show yesterday- by practicing dance steps with her.

"24" star Cuthbert, who dates Timberlake's best pal Trace Ayala, appeared on DeGeneres' show to promote her new movie The Girl Next Door, but was worried she'd not be able to compete with the comedienne's dance steps, which she shows off every morning.

She says, "My boyfriend told (Justin) I was gonna be on the show. We were dancing and Justin comes in and he goes, 'What are you guys doing?' He always makes fun of me because my dancing's kinda weird, 'cause he's a pro.

"And then he pretended to be (Ellen) and he was helping. He was like, 'You know her from 24, she's coming out in the Girl Next Door.' And I came out dancing. He was like, 'Oh my God!'" And the practice paid off - French-Canadian Cuthbert, 21, successfully wiggled her way onto the set to the Jackson Five classic Dancing Machine.

But DeGeneres was more impressed to learn Justin was pretending to be her, saying, "It was only a matter of time!"
