Silverstone: I Love Playing Nasty Girls

Clueless beauty Alicia SIlverstone loves playing "nasty" characters - because being a bad girl is "so much fun".

The 27-year-old actress - who stars in TV show Miss Match - knows her "nicer" roles are the ones which she is best remembered for, but always enjoys the chance to explore her dark side.

And her part in Scooby Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed, as a bitchy reporter, has given the blonde star the perfect opportunity to get to grips with her inner bad girl.

Alicia enthuses, "I love being nasty, it's so much fun."

"I'm not sure if it means anything bad about me, though. I'm not the sort of person who picks roles that I want to do and then tries to do that role.

"If a role inspires me or interests me then I just jump in. I'm really open to whatever the future has for me in terms of roles, but nasty is always good."
