Janet Jackson Returning to Live TV

Janet Jackson will perform on March 31st in New York's Battery Park, her first live televised appearance since her controversial breast-baring at the Super Bowl on February 1.

"Good Morning America", a breakfast-time news and entertainment show on the ABC television network, announced that it would air an interview with Jackson just before the live performance - with a five-second delay - of songs including her new single, "Just a Little While".

In the halftime show of the Super Bowl, the American football professional championship game, Jackson performed with pop singer Justin Timberlake, who pulled off part of her clothes to reveal her bare nipple.

The Super Bowl is one of the most-watched events of the year on U.S. television. The breast-baring incident, which appeared staged, has led to an industry-led crackdown on broadcast indecency and sharply higher fines for violation on television and radio.

Jackson's new album, "Damita Jo", is to be released on March 30.
