Muniz Admits To Co-star Crush

Frankie Muniz admits he had a crush on co-star Amanda Bynes - but they remained on purely friendly terms on set.

Muniz, who sprang to fame on hit TV comedy "Malcolm in the Middle," was interested in Bynes even before they met - and was naturally thrilled when he was told they would be working together.

The 16-year-old says, "I actually had a crush on her before I met her! So when they told me that she might be doing the movie, I was so excited."

"We sort of became friends before we started filming the movie, but it was never like a romantic-type thing."
