'Pop' Divas Endorsing Rival Sodas

It's the war of the soda-pop queens. Only weeks after Pepsi signed Britney Spears to hawk its product, Coke has hit back, inking Christina Aguilera.

That means TV viewers will soon be bombarded with images of Britney and Christina in their skimpy outfits, pushing the competing cola products.

Like Britney's deal with Pepsi, Christina's contract with Coca-Cola is believed to be worth about $10 million.

A spokesman for Coca-Cola said Christina's ads will run in the United States and South America, but provided no other details.

Britney has already appeared in her first Pepsi commercial, aired during last Sunday's Oscars.

PepsiCo Inc. is the world's No. 2 soft drink company - behind the Coca-Cola Co.
